Was it a penalty? No never both players got something on the ball. The ref cant see morelos touch cos the ball is blocking him seeing his foot. Mclean gets no contact from Morelos and goes down.

Cant really blame the ref especially in real time (its hard enough to see it in slow motion). Mclean did lie in what he said after the game. He went down with no contact but I can see why he got a touch on the ball and instinct for players tell them if they get to the ball first then prepare to go down cos contact is coming.

Wasnt a foul therefore 100% no penalty, but I can understand why it was given. it happens.

Dust ourselves down, use it as extra motivation for the Hibs game cos we will need it.

Harsh penalty in fairness but Rangers were lucky to keep 11 on the Park - where did the agression come from all of a sudden BTW Goss is a joke of a footballer and as for Morelos Thought Murphy & McCrorie were Rangers best players. Aberdeen are a poor team and devoid of tactics - McClean went missing for 35 minutes in the second half and still got MOTM

I think you’ve probably answered the latter part with the first part

Don’t worry IE, I seen it. Wasn’t a penalty. You could see McLean playing for it, he was looking at the ref on the way down 😂

But the ref gave it anyway

And how all the players stayed on the park is beyond me

IE i thought it was more likely to come from the sideline - maybe tells us something about Murty's standing with the players

if that's the case then Celtic players should've been roaring into tackles 2nd half on Sunday when Naismith was out trying to end seasons

I just think Rangers knew they were 2nd best in the game and decided to try and use a bit of physicality

The fact is we are not good enough, we had it in our own hands and chocked. The fact we have to rely on Celtic is disgusting.

Defo not a penalty, but as has been said, Goss lucky to stay on the park and wasn't even booked. Makes for an interesting end to the season. Whether Hibs draw or win tonight, they need to beat the Gers on Sunday, which they are be capable of doing. No McCrorie, Morales or Dorrans so suspect midfield will be Holt, Docherty and Goss, with Cummings up top?

No Dorrans is a blessing for Rangers

So should our players, games like this are what football is about.

All this week we should be gettin them right up for it. the word should be DOMINATE... dominate the ball, dominate the players, dominate the game. Run yourself into the the ground and the Hibs players with it. Win the "battle" before playing the "game"

They should have been

Celtic are certainly not shy in the giving it out stakes, certainly in the games I’ve seen them ( against us)

My my my, Rangers fans complaining about a soft penalty against them..

Gerrard has his work cut out for him, just makes the appointment more bizarre to me. We can moan about penalties all we like but the truth in the matter is that we are not good enough.
