Disgraceful miscarriage of democracy. I voted for us to prorogue parliament in September this year when I voted in 2016. Respect what the country voted for.

He won't go to prison for that. But I do think it's a career that will end badly, though not in prison.

Boris' days are numbered now I'd guess. Bring on a general election, the brexit party will cruise it.

They will sweep up loads of Tory votes in a GE if Boris is forced out. Let's see if you're laughing when Nigel Farage is kingmaker

It should in normal times be case closed for Boris Johnson as PM but we aren't in normal times, he will batter on regardless.

Boris - accused of being a liar for trying to implement Brexit which is the law of the land.

Remain MPs - Hailed as heroes of democracy for trying to subvert the legitimate vote of the people.

Go figure.

Did you even read the ruling? The government itself failed to provide a justification for why they prorogued parliament.

not really. It can only be delayed.
If Remain MPs can disregard a legitimate vote to Leave the EU, future MPs can ignore any treaty signed by this Remain parliament because it does not represent the will of the majority of the British people.

Nah, what’s happened is the it’s highest court in the land has unanimously decided that Boris Johnson has defied parliament and toyed with its sovereignty.

I want that blustering facker wheeled off to the tower the second he returns to the country....Cameron was right

Legitimate since when were advisory referendums legit? Especially with all the criminal activity committed by the leave side during the referendum. Have a day off mate, those immigrants you’re scared of are gonna flood back in and make your life a misery again.

General election, make the parties put forward a manifesto including a leave, no leave or public vote.

posted on 24/9/19

Nah just revoke it all Busby, the last 3 years have shown this country is literally nothing without the EU holding it up. Our so called MP’s literally are the worst ever politicians that this country has endured in modern times. Couldn’t trust them to run a bath let alone a country.

Back in 16 I voted to remain...I thought once the leave vote won - ok let's see where this goes..maybe it'll be a good thing

Still waiting...In reality many people who voted leave just did it on a whim because they thought we were being over run by immigrants.
In reality I suspect being part of the EU had (or has) little bearing on the daily lives of the great unwashed of this country

No one knew what the feck a customs union or a single market was before Davey decided to pitch a referendum on an issue that was supposed to heal the divisons inside his own party.

Arron Banks has not been cleared.
Meanwhile, the Remain camp has been found guilty on several front in recent weeks regarding campaign funding. Of course, the remain stream media all went quiet about it.

Don't worry, all this has done is increase our resolve to Leave the EU. As long as we have the majority in this country, no court or MP can stop us from leaving.

posted on 24/9/19

Now that the Lib Dems are looking to remain, and maybe labour are veering away from leaving, if we have a general election the Tory will likely be smashed given their disgraceful showing since the referendum - there will be a pact between the two & we'll stay
