Clockwork, I agree with that. They’re noncommittal, which is why I find it bizarre that people actually think a long term approach under Ole will bare fruit as they’ll sack it off very soon anyway.

bloodred, I just think there are probably interim managers around that will get better results. As mentioned, our league form is similar to the form that got Ole the sack by Cardiff. Regardless of the issues in the squad, that’s absolutely terrible.

But I don’t care all that much whether he is replaced right now or not. Especially if he still has the players onside.

What will be interesting is if we do somehow scrape top four or win the Europa. Will the club still stick woth him even if better candidates are available?

This is my main worry about Solskjaer, in a nutshell. He's got a hell of a lot to do, and a hell of a lot to learn while doing it. And even if he's got the ability, which we can't know for sure yet, I doubt he'll get the time, and then we're back to square one.

Clockwork, yep that’s it. It’s all a bit half arrrssed to any particular way of running the club. They’ve not yet shown they’re able to combine different approaches to the transfer market and management.

There’s all this talk about United’s problem being the galactico approach and that they should just invest in young players.

But under all our managers since Van Gaal we’ve invested a lot of time and money in youngsters that have just failed to step up in that time. It’s as big a problem as signing players like Di Maria, Falcao, Schweinsteiger and Sanchez.

Maybe Pochettino could combine the approach to investing in younger players combined with some top players in their prime? I dunno, but it’s the sort of coach United need under this leadership. I’d personally like Tuchel, I think he’s shown enough of both approaches and his teams play great football.

Mate, I’m not claiming anything. You’re the one desperate to have his claims of being amazing accepted. Maybe you are, maybe you’re not. But by continuing this it does reflect badly on your claims because someone as great as you claim would just walk away.
