The bottom line is, if the go ahead is given to resume any time before August I think they'll put aside 5 weeks and try to finish the season. Then next season will be reduced, maybe both cup comps being suspended.

i like the play off idea 3 rounds of games behind closed doors to get the season done.
Liverpool get a buy into the semi
City still have the play the quarters but a guaranteed not to face Liverpool in the semi.
Quarters/Round one:
City Vs Sheffield
Leicester Vs Wolves
United Vs Chelsea
All semi Finalists get the CL spots.
Winner takes the PL.
Give the 3x EL spots to the three losing quarter finalists which means all of the above get into europe and you don't have to deal with EL qualification.
Scrap the FA cup.
Do something similar for relegation.
Done! 3 rounds of games, sorts out the PL, CL and EL.
United or City win the league and Liverpool fans rage so hard that their heads explode. Win-Win

This will come down to the prem league voting , it’s clear there is a desire to complete the season , if that doesn’t happen then they can to void the season and the chief execs will decide . It seems from well sourced journalists That they will make a decision on top 4 based on current standing and then wba and Leeds will be promoted with the league being 22 next season . That’s overall the fairest way to do it . Having said that think the league will be completed by July anyway

To say it is impossible to finish the season is dense. Considering voiding the season is very extreme and will only become realistic once all other avenues have been explored and deemed not possible. Whether it takes weeks or months, whenever football resumes then I don't see any reason why the season can't be completed. I'm not just saying this because we're on the verge of the title (naturally it is part of my thinking because I'm a football fan), but it would also avoid a number of clubs kicking off and challenging the decision.

I haven't said it is currently impossible to complete the season. However, if they reach a certain point the it's obvious it will be.
The authorities will have to consider all options at the moment, but everyone's opinion will be different based on where they think this crisis will go. i like the play off idea 3 rounds of games behind closed doors to get the season done.
Liverpool get a buy into the semi
City still have the play the quarters but a guaranteed not to face Liverpool in the semi.
Quarters/Round one:
City Vs Sheffield
Leicester Vs Wolves
United Vs Chelsea
All semi Finalists get the CL spots.
Winner takes the PL.
Give the 3x EL spots to the three losing quarter finalists which means all of the above get into europe and you don't have to deal with EL qualification.
Scrap the FA cup.
Do something similar for relegation.
Done! 3 rounds of games, sorts out the PL, CL and EL.
United or City win the league and Liverpool fans rage so hard that their heads explode. Win-Win

This will come down to the prem league voting , it’s clear there is a desire to complete the season , if that doesn’t happen then they can to void the season and the chief execs will decide . It seems from well sourced journalists That they will make a decision on top 4 based on current standing and then wba and Leeds will be promoted with the league being 22 next season . That’s overall the fairest way to do it . Having said that think the league will be completed by July anyway

To say it is impossible to finish the season is dense. Considering voiding the season is very extreme and will only become realistic once all other avenues have been explored and deemed not possible. Whether it takes weeks or months, whenever football resumes then I don't see any reason why the season can't be completed. I'm not just saying this because we're on the verge of the title (naturally it is part of my thinking because I'm a football fan), but it would also avoid a number of clubs kicking off and challenging the decision.

I haven't said it is currently impossible to complete the season. However, if they reach a certain point the it's obvious it will be.
The authorities will have to consider all options at the moment, but everyone's opinion will be different based on where they think this crisis will go. I'm glad you think being dismissive of others opinions is dense though; given that is exactly what you did to start this discussion by implying everyone who disagrees with you isn't sensible.

I want it cancelled forthwith for the health of the nation. You however want it to carry on so that Liverpool can win the title, no matter how many people die in the meantime. How selfish is that.
