Lots of Germans don't believe the its governments infection/death figures.

Only time will tell, but Germany will regret this really crass decision I suspect.

What are the rules?
Do players have to wear N95 masks?
I've hiked up hills in N95 and its no joke, but playing footy...... ieeeMMMPOOOSSIBule (Russian pronunciation by INTourist).
Extra substitutes?
Is that for when players fall down dead?

Time will indeed tell. I personally trust the countless experts across numerous fields that have put the measures in place and confirmed football can start again with strict regulations.

Trusting the experts is something I currently am not doing. Most don`t know their arrris from their elbow.

Trust the experts?

Don’t make me laugh.

People only trust the experts who make come up with “evidence” that suits their agenda.

Football thinks it is immune from taking financial hits for some reason.

Agree, these so called experts / genius scientists all around the world paid vast sums of money have learned next to nothing worthwhile or accurate in 3 months

Russia appears to be the new hotbed of the virus now unfortunately whereas everywhere else seems to be getting a "bit better", russia getting crazy numbers.

Not often I agree with you Sandy, but I do here. I think they've rushed it and wouldn't be at all surprised if it gets called off again after a week or two. As you say, it only takes one or two infections before entire squads get locked down. And every new infection makes it more likely others will follow.

At the beginning of the crisis I would've put money on the season being finished, but the longer it goes on the more I think it'll be cancelled. The fallout is going to be pretty catastrophic.

Even one of the UFC fighters tested positive the other day as well and 2 of his cornermen despite showing no symptoms, seems like 1 in every 10 people tests positive / has this damn thing

I can't see it restarting after the Dynamo team news , the R-Naught figure has jumped massively already in Germany.

I've a hunch this virus may just get a lot worse.
Mutations and all that.
Why?
Well........ there are 7 Billion people in this world of ours,
multiplying at a phenomenal rate and killing off all the other species around.
Most demographers consider the largest sustainable world population at a western standard of living, in co-existence with all the other species, to be what it was in 1900....one Billion!
And .......................
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/coronavirus-infection-outbreak-worldwide-virus-expert-warning-today-2020-03-02/

So maybe a more virulent mutation, one that stays ahead of vaccines, is the answer the world's problems, both political and demographic?

I don’t see any football being played anytime soon in this country.

They will plan for it however as soon as few players start getting infected it will all go titties up.

It will be the players that stop it happening

Seems way too early even in a country who has handled the crisis well. As we have seen it just takes one player to get it and that club is out of action for two weeks.

Just reading in South Korea, another country who have done a great job and they're experiencing some outbreaks.

Would be interested to know China's actual figures. If they are genuinely only getting a handful of cases every day then the world should be following their model, but to be honest they're probably nonsense as no other country in the world has gotten over a massive outbreak as quickly as China.

China have lied from day one about the entire situation , you will never be told the truth.

To be fair to China, once they saw how bad it was about to get, they just shut down entire cities. And whilst they have probably underplayed the figures a tad, I suspect we will never know for sure. They have 2 billion citizens, so they have in all probability down far, far better than GB.

Yesterday the parks over here were full of people sunbathing, the day before there were street parties. Is it any wonder GB is 2nd only to the USA for deaths as it stands.

Yet Germany got it right for the last 2 months but now those same people are getting it wrong because its something you dont agree with. Like I said, time will tell.

There were mass protests there yesterday , that's a few hundred more infected.
