Whos being silly? Before this season hed never finished lower than 3rd, so no failures before this season. And this season, the players refused to play for him. What could mourinho do about that? He couldnt do anything and the board pussied out of selling our rat players and sacked mourinho instead. winning the treble at porto and jnter is better than what pep has achieved and jose has been doing it for longer.

Mourinho has proven a lot more than Pep has, have a feeling he will be found wanting at least in his first season at City. Naive tactics have lead to two very humiliating Champions league exits. He has to show he's not just a one plan manager before he can be considered the best in the world.

That is a whole other debate though.
