Try answering some instead of asking;
Should teams try to promote from within.?

Given Chelseas superb record in youth cups etc, would you have expected more to be promoted ?

Does watching one of your own run out give you a kick.?

Does saving money on one or two positions from the youth allow you to spend more on others?

Have our two greatest managers liked to promote from within, and how do you feel Jose compares?

Do you want Jose as our next manager?

But to be fair, he's not asking for hundreds, is he? As I said above, if Mourinho really has failed to promote youth from the academy, there should be a few players whom he ignored and are now doing very well after he's left the club in question.

All have buckets of talent and when played consistently have played well.

When at Chelsea all with 2 or 3 starts maximum.

That's my point. If De Bruyne and Lukaku don't count, for the same reason neither does Zouma and whoever else you mentioned if we're talking about the likes of Rashford and the Class of 92, raw academy products thrown into the first team.

So what it's taken eight hours to establish is that Mourinho hasn't really promoted any notable youth players but neither has he demonstrably failed to do so. As I said, this could go on forever.

To answer your questions -

Whilst I appreciate beckham, Giggs, Neville, Brown etc, as I'm not a mancunian, it doesn't matter to me if they are mancunian or manchurian, if they are good enough they can get a game.

I don't know enough about the gap in quality between fa youth cup football and the prem or the ability of the Chelsea kids to comment as to if they should have brought more through.

As for youth saving money, seems a none starter when United are constant ramming down our throats how much money they have.

I'd have prefererd pep or Ancelotti but now I want Jose as our next manager yes.

Do you think Jose would have picked beckham scholastic and Giggs if hed been United boss back then and would Jose have picked Pogba over Raffael in CM?

That's sort of what I'm saying, yes, but it's fairly subjective. Look at Simon West's list, for example. All players who have "made it" and to whom Mourinho didn't really give a chance (I'll take his word for that as I'm not a Chelsea fan). But someone might argue that most of those players would not have improved Chelsea, and still wouldn't, so Mourinho was right to prefer established players. I don't know.

If you don't know about the quality of the Chelsea youth you have no valid opinion on it.

And as you want Jose, then yes, I would say you are supporting him.

No, I don't think Jose would have played Beckham, Giggs etc; I think he would have sold them, as Lukaku and KDB.

All I'm saying is Jose has / does give young players a chance if he deems them good enough. I have provided examples.

I have asks those that feel Jose doesn't give academy players a chance, to provide the names of some of those youth products that Jose didn't use and were / are deemed good enough.

Iv also pointed that very few top / competitive clubs currenltly have squads littered with homegrown youth products.

If we get Conte I would expect to see Moses and Cuadrado back at CFC next season. At the moment would love Betrand, KDB and now even Lukaku would be a great back up to Costa.

You may be happy with your argument, but few others are.
Thats because its perfectly obvious that Jose doesn't often,if ever, promote from the academy.
That doesn't make him a bad manager, because he isn't,he is a very good one. But not necessarily good for us. And thats because a lot of us like to see our own young players, whilst appreciating top players from other clubs we have bought.
But asking people to prove a negative point isn't the way to go about it.
Put down what you would like and why, much fairer.

I'm board now guys. I find it staggering that so many people are happy to slate Jose for not picking youth products and use this as a stick to beat him with re the units job and yet can't provide names of those he should have played on a regular basis.

Just a warning, In the real world you will be expected to qualify your arguments.
