Football is changing and no top club is all that different to any other right now.
..........
Spot on.
..............
No it is not spot on.
Bayern are run completely differently to the oil teams as are Real and Barca. And Mex will probably tell you to add Juve as well.
Bartra, Rafinha and Roberto are 23-25 now, I'm talking about bringing through young players, not them becoming rotation players in time for their mid twenties.
It's not the same as the likes of Busquets, Pedro etc coming through and actually have big impacts on the side.
The LVG in brigade are those that wrongly backed LVG and ripped shreds off anyone that had the foresight to know he would fail. They are now out to discredit Jose.
Ok so they are run differently but their aims are all the same. Build the best team at all costs

Juve are run very differently, because in comparison they are paupers, although that gap is closing, last year Juve made €250m less in revenue than Real, €230m less than Barca and €200m less than United, it's impossible for Juve to compete financially so they have to be sensible and clever and not pįss money away
The LVG in brigade are those that wrongly backed LVG
..........................
Are you saying we should not have backed LVG? How odd.

They are now out to discredit Jose.
................
Who is out to discredit Jose? I have seen a lot of people point out his faults. He does have them you know.
Jose said of Lewis Baker (a better prospect than RLC IMO), Izzy Brown and Dom Solanke that if they do not make it for Chelsea and England then he is to blame!
Guess where they are on loan at now!

Not sure it is that black and white, as proved by all the replies you have just seen. Barca and Bayern will always want to try and stick to their traditions. Real as well in their own way.
Yes VC, you were wrong to claim LVG was the best thing since sliced bread and anybody saying otherwise was a moron.
Now, can anyone tell me the names of the youth players Jose is bejbg slaughtered for not using?

Jose's not manager anymore so if in 3 years theyre playing for Boreham Wood it would be a little harsh to blame Jose
VC
I was referring to policy of developing youngsters. All top teams mainly look to buy players rather than develop players. Youngsters in top teams get a decent run in the team, only if they are ridiculously talented. Otherwise theyll rather buy a player than taking a gamble on a youngster. All top teams arnt that different in that regard
Maybe Vidicshin but you cannot deny that the number of youngsters coming through these academies is the same as it used to be unless you think 24-25 years olds as squad back up is the same as it's always been

Look them up yourself if you are that interested. No one lese is at all.
Who would you drop drop for those 3 brummie?
Arsenal/Arsene is the only exception to the rule. Wenger is the only manager who'd rather put his faith on a youngster coming good than buying an establish player. Although his policy is greatly helped by having having lower expectations and high job security.
Even Wenger is changing that policy, look at Szczesny for example!
All top teams mainly look to buy players rather than develop players.
.............
Only the oil ones. And I would guess City are changing that policy now going by the massive investment at their academy.
Not really, Barca, Bayern, Real all spend massive amounts of money on established players every season

Yes but they also promote youth through their academies.
No one is saying they don't buy players.
Mourinho actually got slaightered at Real Madrid for trying to replace one established superstar with an academy player
the next manager bought his replacement instead
Definitely isn't just oil clubs and Mourinho.
I wouldn't necessarily drop anyone who was performing for them.
However, all those games were you're 3 up and cruising with 15 minutes left, FA Cup, League Cup games, CL games where you have already qualified as champions, are all ideal opportunities to blood them.
Also given the ineptitude of players like Oscar, Fabregas, Matic, over the last year, I would have been tempted to drop at least two for youth players. What's the worst that could have happened - they'd have been as bad as the players they replaced?
Can anyone on the Chelsea board give us the names if these youth products Jose failed to use please?
None of those academy graduates being mentioned are anything more than back ups for the big money signings though Vidicshin
