Arsenal_49 - I vaguely remember that incident or something similar in another match, although can't remember if that involved Selby or not. He is one of the more boring players on the circuit I agree, made worse by the fact that he's won a few tournament recently therefore when it gets down the the latter stages of a tournament I'm forced to watch him.
Still one of the favourites for this year's title, though.
Is there a prediction thread??
Never done one. Never enough people commenting in the snooker board to do one.
Selby, can't stand him, unfortunately he gets to Ronnie by boring him to death, bit like Ebdon used to do, Ronnie all the way, if not Judd! NEVER Selby.
Stephen Hendry to get his 8th title ohh wait I forgot
Has anyone heard Ronnie O'Sullivan's interview on 5 live? It was on last night only listened to the first 20 minutes or so.
Nice work RKW once again...
I've went large on Ronnie to win @ 11/2
I've also done....
Ronnie v Ding final @ 22's
Ronnie v Mark Allen final @ 22's
Ronnie v Stephen Maguire final 25's
Ronnie to win Quarter 1 @ 7/4
Matthew Stevens to win Quarter 2 @ 7's
Stephen Maguire to win Quarter 3 @ 5/2
Ding to win Quarter 4 @ 11/4
4 x trebles & an accum on thee above 4 quarter bets.
I've been banging on about Neil Robertson being the main man outside of Ronnie all season yet I've ignored him come to start line.
Good/Bad move? We shall see.....
Cheers John
Could be in for some decent money there but as it's been discussed between a few of us earlier, seeds usually fall in the bog one and I don't think they'll all get into the latter stages.
Robbo has a chance, yes. Definitely.
What are your thoughts on Mark Selby? He's been a hot discussion topic so far on this thread.
Mark Selby? Well, he's our World number 1 isn't he yet he seems to be flying quietly underneath most peoples radar.
He'll be there or there abouts but given he's in with Ding & Allen, I can't see him beating both of them.
Just my thoughts mind......
A few newcomers to the Crucible this year, Jack Lisowski and Dechawat Poomjaeng.
Never seen them play myself. Good players?
I don't know much about Dechawat Poomjaeng if I'm honest however you've gotta watch Jack Lisowski as he's lovely to watch. He's only in his early 20's but was diagnosed with cancer when in his late teens.
He's a wonderful player to watch & is out of the same stable as his good mate, Judd Trump.
Jack can hit them, hit them hard & hit them well. I think he's up against Barry Hawkins in the 1st round so expect that one to be real close.
I've just heard that Ronnie O'Sullivan has been practicing with Dechawat Poomjaeng the past 2 days & beat him 13-2 & 8-1.
Get on him folks!
Where did you hear that about Ronnie?
Yeah Lisowski is against Hawkins and they play tomorrow afternoon and Sunday night. I'll have to flick between that match and the Murphy-Gould encounter.
Re: Ronnie RKW. A fella on Twitter was saying that he was watching.
As for Murphy & Gouldie, that'll be close but as much as Martin is a 100% bloke, Murphy loves the Crucible & will be bringing his 'A' game.
Murphy for me on that one. 10-5 ish
Had a bet on Ding and for a bit of fun Stevens also, who could go on a good run provided he gets past Fu in the opener.
Also done a treble on Stevens, Ebdon and Lisowski for the first round. Pesonally think that Ronnie will make QFs, but we'll just have to wait and see. Good luck to all.
Sounds like Ronnie is in form then. Hopefully he can produce something near what he did last year, was definitely at his best 12 months ago.
Can't wait for it to get going now.
Sullivan will win and in even better style than last year, you're going to see an even better Ronnie this year
Had a cheeky on Ding to win some weeks ago @12/1.
Cant wait to see The Rocket back, he is far and away the most entertaining player to watch, and I would love him to win it again.
Morning folks!
It's here. 17 days starts in just under two hours with the rocket returning to the baize when he takes on Marcus Campbell. Ricky Walden v Michael Holt is on the other table.
Anyone about this morning?
Im about mate but I will only tune in when the final is on
