Balo is not on 150k a week but 110k a week. He took a pay cut to join

Best striker from the lot is Falcao if fit.

CONs: Average goalscoring record (but due to playing on the left)

So Arsenal fans accept that a striker played on the wing is likely to have a less than perfect goalscoring record now?!?

You've asked two questions here:

Who bought the best striker?

Answer: indisputably Man Utd.

Who got the best deal?

Answer: probably Man Utd...they signed Falcao afterall.

I love it how people profess to know the finer details of players' contracts.

Out of those strikers, Has to be United... If Costa was included I would say us purely because he's earning £140k less than Falcao per week and also we paid £32m for 5 years while use lot will be paying £20m (Loan fees and salary) for one year.

Since when does being English become a 'Pro'? What does nationality have to do with who got the best deal?

As it stands,
United
Chelsea
Liverpool
Arsenal

in that order.

Could change if Welbeck progresses as a striker rather than on the left, or if Balo becomes consistent.

Remy may be the best financial deal though United got the best striker

On paper, it's Falcao, but that doesn't really mean anything, Torres was a top striker then he turned chit.
You can't answer this question until we have seen them all in action, for at least half the season.
By then Falcao could have scored the least goals out of the 4 and mr Welbeck could be top, i know it's unlikely but you never know.

Genuine question arsenal fans...

Remy or Welbeck?

Who would you have preferred to sign?

I am his agent and I’ve never met you in my life.

Falcao is streets ahead of the rest but I wonder if he can find his form which made him so coveted when in Spain.

I’m not sure why you didn’t mention Costa – for me he is the best deal.

I am no being biased, I did not want Falcao as even though he is one of the best in the world, he needs time to adjust.
...........
You lost all credibility on your first line. Lying bâstard. Of course you wanted falcao. If you could turn back time you would gave been crying out for him

John Henry

Luis Suarez also went for £100m too didn't he?

Remy apparently has a heart condition which was supposedly the reason given for failing a medical. A quote from The Mirror (yeah I know) says:

"But QPR insist the hole in the heart condition was not an issue when he passed his medical at Loftus Road in January 2013 and Redknapp hinted that a smokescreen may have been erected by the Merseysiders."

Maybe Liverpool have a more stringent medical requirement than other clubs and a hole in the heart is just too much of a risk.

Maybe the American owners fear court action (it is the American way) if Remy suffered a Fabrice Muamba type heart attack on the pitch.

We may never know for sure the reasons why Liverpool saw his condition as a problem but whatever they were is history.

My personal view is that we made a big mistake and should have punted for Remy at £8.5m but if Ballo gets his ѕһіt together and performs then I think Liverpool could have bagged themselves a bargain. It all hinges on whether the psych doctors can keep his head in the right place.

Chavy
Remy was AFC's choice before we got Welbeck, but he went to CFC, now we have Welbeck.
So i think we can all agree everyone wanted Remy ahead of Welbeck.
Saying that, i do think he'll do good for us, how good, we have to wait and see.

Is it a 'con' to be Columbian, French or Italian these days? Or am I missing something?

If wenger plays welbeck centrally and keeps him central when giroud is back then he will score 20+ goals this season (important goals too). Bookmark this page
