ps Cletic didnt get 20m for Dembele when he was at bang in form and firing on all cylinders, you wont get 20m or more for KT no chance

World Class.

Come on, the guy has been part of a defence ripped to shreds against decent opposition in Europe nearly every game in the CL.

Tierney has bags of potential but I think he's at the point now where he needs to be really challenged week in week out to ever fulfill it but to call him world class at this moment is mental, proper mental.

Man Utd are intertested ........

Naw its actually Bournemouth that are intersted.

I think that would be a decent move for him, he would be guaranteed football there and can then move onto a bigger club from that. He moves to a big club their is a much higher chance he plays less often that will hinder his development. either go to a smaller team in the EPL or stay with Celtic if he wants to be the best player he can be.

I think Tierney would get into that man utd team ahead of Ashley young

I cannot actually believe a club like man utd have Ashley young as their left back

without wishing to ruffle feathers... is he that good or is he made to look good because of the standard of the spl?

look at Liam Miller... decent at celtic to the point fergie signed him then he looked like a pub player.

Far too good for a tin pot club like Bournemouth, who have nothing except the luxury of being in the richest league. Would be selling himself waaaay to short with a crap club like them.

Therein lies the gamble of buying from Scotland.

Van Dijk was a trick missed by the big boys then you have Alan Hutton who Spurs gave us close to 10m for

With Tierney he looks like he would transition well but in Europe it's hard to judge him because Celtic are cannon fodder and in the Premiership it's hard because of the standard of opposition. I suspect he would make it though

RV not saying I personally think he is world class just the funny thing I saw on twitter. I think he would have to be playing at a world class level to be considered world class. Robertson has overtaken him this season, no question. He has loads of potential but I think he will have to test himself at that level week in week out to elevate himself.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it, we will never truly know how good he is until he goes an tests himself in a top league.

He could end up like Brown a big fish in a small pond with little recognition from beyond our borders which would be a shame, i suspect he's more heart for a challenge than Brown though.

only player I've seen give Tierney a tough game was Sterling

He's only 20 years old and has captained Celtic

He's played 80 odd games despite fracturing his ankle

Won young player of the year 3 times

He has everything to go to the next level , I just wonder what the asking price is for that

Like I said I would be gutted if we sold him for £20M

Could be the sorta team that helps his developlment however. I aint saying go there and stay there use them as a stepping stone. A club that you are pretty much guarantee a start with and be playing in the EPL. Much like Robertson when he went to Hull.

Like I said you couldnt get that value for Dembele when he was bang in form, strikers go for more and are the same age. You will really struggle to get anything more than 15m. I dont think he will leave this summer anyway

The SPL doesn't exist.

I think Tierney would fit into the Man Utd team seamlessly. Or any team in England to be frank.

He’d be better staying at Celtic than completely underselling himself to nonentities like Bournemouth..seriously, would be a really daft move to basically a tiny club who have lucked out by virtue of being in the pl.

Cammy Kerr is a better full back than Tierney. He is faster, stronger, taller, more aggressive, better going forward and better at tackling. Scotland need a proper right back, not one that is not good enough to be our left back.

United would be the move for him.

Defensive team with a defensive manager crying out for a LB.

Personally, I CGAF what anyone thinks he’s valued at, who’s better than him, or what folk think he has to do to further his career. If he goes, and I don’t think that will happen for a while if ever, then he’ll go with my best wishes. He’s a fantastic player, and we’re fortunate to have him. The usual suspects are hoping he leaves-the same as they are with Rodgers-but down playing his ability when suggesting teams or valuation. He’s worth what someone is willing to pay.

I hope he’s with us for the rest of his career.
