"Kick it out", an organisation formed to fight racism, should ignore the racism issue and concentrate on children or OAPs?
Interesting thought.
“ Rather than cherry picking causes to get behind for PR merely to support the media darlings aka Liverpool”

Kick It Out cherry picking it's cause of racism
I have a hard skin on my foot.. I think I need the world to protest! Even kick it out.
Can only assume this is an attempt at satire.
My first thought...but then I saw the OP.
I wouldn't call it a cheap publicity stunt.
I would, however, expect more from PL players then simply posing for a photograph on one knee.
I'm no fan of Liverpool but you can't criticise them for this.
I was critical of the way they handled Suarez with the t-shirts etc so I'll praise them here as well. It's good they've changed their stance.
Just waiting for Nigel Adams to come out and demand NHS workers 'do their bit' towards this.

They should've taken the first flight out to the US and partaken in the protests. Shocking from Klopp & the players who always bang on about passion.
Seeing a lot of white people scared to accept racism is real.

Yes, because flying out the America to join in the protests is the only way they can support the cause, isn't it?
Facking hell.

Yeah because using their huge platform to bring awareness to the situation doesn't do anything for anyone.

Great. All those people who had no idea what was going on will no know.
Really helpful.
Interesting how I aim my comments at PL players (and companies) yet you refer back to Klopp and his players.
Taking it personally, are you?
Just waiting for the old All lives Matter to be rolled out.
If you saw any of replies under tweets from the like of trent, Rashford or Gomez yesterday you'll know what I mean.
Here's an idea - let's just keep all politics, causes, and world events out of sports entirely.

You can't keep something out of sport when it affects the sport.

So do I
The kneeling by the players was driven by VVD and Gini not the club.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with players going on one knee, with brands putting out statements, with musicians posting a song on Twitter... it's all absolutely fine.
But it's largely meaningless.
If these people really want to support the cause, there are things they can do in addition to this rather easy message and when journalists like Henry Winter fawn all over a photo like this, it is understandable why some people turn around and say it's a PR exercise.

Though tbf it would have been quite funny had instruction come from on high to photograph them all mid-stretch and use it as a publicity stunt - which, just to clarify, I'm not suggesting for one minute they did!
