I’m making a wider point is response to your point about society, especially as I’d argue these people have been given a platform they’re undeserving of and it’s poisoned political discourse not just in this country, but across the Western world.

Maybe if we got back to a world which didn't tolerate the abhorrent, the anti-science, anti-expert, anti-factual there would be fewer of these idiots around and no one would give a 5h1t if they festered with their malignant views. And the world would be a better place.

I do understand your point, I just don’t have the patience with these people anymore. It’s depressing trying to explain things to people that just do not understand or do not care, when people become radicalised they make it part of their identity and just aren’t interested in anything that disproves their positions.

Every media outlet I've seen/read has put it at 100-150k. What's the problem with that?

There were FAR more then 100,000 people there in London on Saturday. From what I have read and seen there were closer to 9 million people there in London. All had legitimate reasons for being there as well. Let's not tar them all with the same brush.

As I have said. Some people cant tell the difference beteween 150,000 people (at best) and 3,000,000 people (in yer dreams) from a drone video then you are an idiot. These are the same kind of nutjobs that claim the moon landings never happened because you cant pick out any of the Apollo LMs left on the surface of the moon by looking at the moon through a pair of strong binoculars on a clear night.

those early space missions are absolutely mind blowing achievements. staggering that they even tried it.

I've seen drone footage of a crowd leaving say Wembley after a match and using that as a comparative then 100-150k would be a decent comparative? of course its tough to make an accurate assessment and of course the fans leaving the ground are taking different routes and leaving a different times but just seeing it from above gave me that impression

That said it's a difficult count on any situation such as that

There is a method that the police, scientists, researchers etc use to estimate crowd sizes at major events. It's used in monitoring hooliganism, protests but also in Psychology to research crowd behaviour.

They aren't just doing it be eye and guesstimating.
