It is complicated by the breakdown and nature of the instalments Arsenal are proposing

Of course there's complicationsThere always is whenever we're involved with transfers.

Can’t see us agreeing to daft proposals and anything less than £20m up front won’t be accepted we believe.

Then sell him to someone else. There are plenty more fish in the sea. In fact I posted two better alternatives a month ago.

CSKA Moscow have enquired about Taiwo Awoniyi. Liverpool would want £15m.

Seriously, if Pool gets that amount for a completely no body, then they should be investigated.
Google don't even know him ffs.

Russians again.

Nah, Arsenal might not be in the strongest position financially at the moment, but we’re still way stronger than Celtic.

We’ll probably pay £12-15m up front, with a couple of £5m instalments to follow.

And Celtic will be grateful for it too.

Maybe your club has that kind of attitude too. And you wonder why you’re struggling to get decent signings in without making an absolute Horlick of it?

Keep up the good work

Aw bless you getting all angry

Not in the slightest bit angry, we want a left back and if it's not Tierney it will be someone else

Typical small man syndrome from Celtic fans though, it's boring and this is an arsenal thread. DJ has been nice enough to let you stay but keep it up and see

Keep up what ya fud?

I’ve been nothing but pleasant on here and taking the typical arrogance that comes from many an EPL supporter on these boards.

I don’t think you’re grasping the simple fact that the club haven’t put Tierney up for sale. Everyone has a price and we’ve put £25m minimum on him with no conditions that we’d accept instalments should anyone approach. We’ve been through this before with Dembele last season and stuck to our guns.

Arsenal approached Celtic. Not one of our supporters want him to leave but if he leaves it will be with our best wishes.

We’re not the ones doing any chasing and don’t need to sell anyone to any club. For our league we have never been in a stronger financial position.

So by all means we hope your club shops elsewhere but drop the pathetic arrogance for once.

Mate you fack up smilies, post a wall of text yet accuse someone else of being angry

Arrogance comes from your own insecurity, we want your player and have the window to get the deal done. Looks like we'll eventually match your valuation but will always do our bit to get the best deal so under no obligation to bid over the odds

Ah. The old smileys failure gag? It happens. Angry? Me? Never in a million years and certainly not on an anonymous Internet forum. As regards that, you’re the one who came on trying to give it the big one telling someone else to “fack off” when all I’ve ever been is polite and have a laugh, so maybe a wee retrospective look is in order eh?

Yes you’ll meet the valuation if you want him and as I said he will go with our best wishes as it’s time for him to get a bigger challenge and test himself against better opposition.

Best deal will be what Celtic will accept and that’s pretty much that. As I have been saying consistently.

Told you to fack off because it's boring seeing you on here every week on the same subject.

You display the same traits a lot of Celtic fans have on here of small man syndrome when compared to clubs in England. If we weren't in for one of your players who looks like they want to join us you wouldn't bother but that's the situation we're in.

So once again, either be interesting or fack off you ginger midget

posted on 14/7/19

And you’re saying you’re not angry? Ffs

You don’t need to interact but you’re being an absolute b3llend trying to get someone kicked off a thread. Pathetic small man behaviour.

That’s you btw. You’re only arrogance is based upon how much more money Arsenal can earn. Well done. You win that one.

When have I tried to get you kicked off the thread?

“DJ has been nice enough to let you stay but keep it up and see”

There.

My motivation was to discuss Tierney and his potential move to Arsenal. As it always has been. Am I not to be interested in the thoughts of supporters who are likely to enjoy having one of the best home grown players we’ve had in many years?

Isn’t that what a forum is for?

Bizarre.

You wouldnt be here Ginger if it wasnt for a Celtic player in so far Crouch is right.

You may lose a player you dont want to see leaving. We are interested in your player and may get him. That's the way the business is. I know it hurts

I’ve never said different and been on over this whole episode so why anyone getting wound up about it is very strange indeed. Then of course there’s the fact my Mrs is a Gooner and we have season tickets at the Emirates but that’s by the by.

It’s what a forum is about isn’t it unless you want some exclusivity and I’m certain there are plenty of Arsenal only sites other than JA606 if that’s your thing.

As regards him leaving; I think we are all pretty well resigned to it and being a club who don’t have them riches of most other European leagues then we are quite used to seeing our best players move on. In fact our attraction for many players is to come to us as a stepping stone.

Oh indeed I have. As have a few of our fans who do just pop on to have a wum. That’s not me btw.

He’s just behind Andy Robertson in standard (and I mean just) but nothing that a bit better training and facilities won’t change. He’s the best we have had for decades and having been brought through the kids club he’s one of those you think will stay forever. We wish.

Fast and attack minded but has the engine to get back and defend very well and certainly not afraid of sticking in a hefty challenge. He’s taken care of some decent wingers and forwards from a few good European sides but exposed by the lack of ability throughout the rest of our defence. Chips in with a few goals too.

There you go

Sounds well worth the record fee

Look forward to seeing you here next season once we've sacked off Emery and come in for Lennon
