Nah, Arsenal might not be in the strongest position financially at the moment, but we’re still way stronger than Celtic.

We’ll probably pay £12-15m up front, with a couple of £5m instalments to follow.

And Celtic will be grateful for it too.

I was a bit surprised to see the kind of money you guys pay for players though. Div 1 type fees.

Made me wonder whether our lot were waiting to see if you’d make the CL proper before bidding again. Looks like Spurs might’ve done you a favour though.

That’s the thing that surprised me was how quick a bid was made. We’ve started the ridiculous 4 sets of CL qualifiers and Tierney won’t be fit for at least another month.
