But the guy you had that Solo conversation with.. you slapped him after, right?
cos that there is the right time to slap somebody.
He would've thanked you for it..

So again, same mate sent me another message, i only just saw. pure laziness on my part.
ok, so he says he's heard the possibility of explaining Leia's passing as, she had chosen to give up her soul to the force so luke could be brought back.

not such a bad idea or is it?.
Suppose it kills 2 birds with one stone.

my problem with anakin in Ep 1, was that we were seeing the mighty vader as a happy go lucky kid.
i always felt he could've montage his infant days, or start out as a teenager.
wasn't the actors fault. yippee was in the script.
introduce Hayden in Ep 1, and then he's comfortable for Ep 2.
'Hey Haden, so, for your first film, you will be playing the most iconic villain in movie history, and you get to make out with natalie portman. and you have to cry.
good luck'....

Clone wars is back? That’s great news.

I love Filoni, he should be given the opportunity to write one of the films imo

Awesome!

Clone wars was, for the most part, fantastic. 120 or so episodes plus the 70-ish of Rebels really builds the entire universe.

I think I watched all of them once over and then rewarched certain story arcs from both series several times more. It's such a huge, epic story telling vehicle. Love it.

It’s very good. Obviously there’s filler In it but the core is fantastic.

I enjoyed the clone wars but I'm ambivalent over this revelation.

What more is there to tell in this period between episode 2 and 3. I want to move away and explore post episode 6. Another worry is why is this not on XD and I'll have to pay to watch?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbh more things are moving away from tv and onto streaming services.

Because Disney are launching their own streaming service like Netflix, so why would they put their new property on a different network?

Also it’s good it’s not on XD, if it is on XD then they have to make it kid friendly

People are going to sign up regardless.

It will have ALL Disney properties on it. From Star Wars, to marvel, pirates of the Caribbean, Pixar, current Disney animation, 90’s Disney animation, classic disney, Mary Poppins etc etc and everything in between.

All those properties will only be found on the Disney streaming site. You won’t find them anywhere else.

It’s like asking why the new Netflix original isn’t on HBO? Because it’s it’s own network now.

Tbf XD is a Disney channel so it’s not really like that

It just seems like a forced move to get people to sign up to the streaming service.

From the trailer, it looks just as kids friendly as the previous seasons.

Clone wars was far from kid friendly.

Depends on what you mean by kids I suppose.

It is definitely not a dark show and putting it on the streaming service isn't due to it becoming darker, it's to sell anew product that Disney are releasing.

Maybe it's just me but I'm tired of this particular time period. Let's see what happens post episode 6 or possibly even the time gaps between the original films.

--------------------------------------------

I dunno, a lot of Clone Wars is pretty dark and not something I'd show to any young kid of mine.

I just rewatched all the Maul episodes recently. This is as dark as it gets. Maul hell bent on revenge, confronting Obi Wan and telling him how he was going to not just kill him but torture him for as long as possbible. Maul and Savage getting the Jedi's attention by massacring kids and beheading villagers....

Throughout the entire run of series, there are on screen killings, beheadings, torture, the evilness of the dark side, charachters like Cad bane, Ventriss etc. Its violent and Dark.

I think the early episodes ( especially the droids ) were abit childish but the overall tone as the show went on got darker and darker.

Actually buzzing it’s back tbh

Don’t forget Maul killing the woman Obi Wan loves right in front of him to break him.

Then the emperor turning up, killing Savage and torturing Maul just for fun.
